Puppy and child in my bed

Well I now know just a puppy or just a child in my bed is fine, however, both is quite detrimental to my sleep!

Last night my daughter was very restless (this happens now and again) and puppy was then restless and I was worried puppy would be accidentally suffocated or kicked onto the floor and/or puppy would bite my daughter’s face in defence (puppy responding if she was accidentally hurt!!).

So tonight…mm…well my daughter will go back to her bed. She is allowed a 2 nights a week in mine! Just one of those single parent’s rules that we can have! In a way I am hoping puppy will just sleep with me, so I know everyone will be safe, however, I have a feeling she will want to be with my daughter.

Last night I tried to sleep on a mattress next to the bed (desperate to sleep) and puppy didn’t want to be with me!

Some people would say put the dog outside, but no that is not an option!!!!
