Eating and sleeping
I eat healthy and I am always trying to think of new ways to be better and it is hard for me. I get sick of it. I am not overweight, but I can imagine for those who struggle with extra unwanted weight and the stress of eating this and preparing that and buying that to go with the other thing – the stress is even greater!!!
Sleeping is the thing I struggle with. I don’t have trouble once I decide it is bed time for me – it is just organising my evenings so bed time is more of a priority. I struggle with going to bed and forgoing my free time. I am aware of this and I am making slow progress.
Eating well and sleeping well are hard to maintain constantly. We are humans and we are not perfect. The reassuring thing is you can find a balance that works for you. This will take time and it will not be easy. Try and have fun with it and reward yourself in fun ways for your effort.
Recently in Australia, we had advertisements about giving up smoking and it said if it didn’t work the first time or second or third – keep going because you are getting closer to success every time you try. I think other major areas of our life can be viewed like this and succeed we will do!
