When dinner is at 6pm, and bed time is between 12pm and 2am, it takes will power to avoid regular visits to the kitchen.
An important factor in this is to have a sufficient dinner and it is then easier to make it. Having hot tea is a good way to avoid eating also. Other ways to avoid the kitchen raid:
1. Ask yourself do you really need it?
2. Don’t give in to yourself at first – see if keeping busy keeps your mind off food.
3. Ration yourself to sunflower seeds or a handful of pretzels.
4. Remind yourself you are just thinking about food – you are not really hungry.
5. If you must – turn to the healthiest option.
6. Do your teeth or use a mouth wash.
My weakness is cereal! I find having a cup of tea is a great comfort. So if I am feeling hungry I just think of tea!
