If you can do 5, 7, 15 or 30 that is great and before and after sleep is preferred and not going to sleep whilst doing it is preferred too – what am I talking about? Yes – meditation!
It probably sounds annoying to do, but the benefits far outweigh the annoyance. I did it the other night and I was incredibly tired. I was proud of myself for not falling to sleep and I definitely felt good afterwards.
The app I found is called Smiling Mind and I am only a new user, but it seems to gauge one’s level of happiness (with a simple quiz) and then it finds a meditation to suit.
It can’t hurt to try it and if it doesn’t happen every morning and night, that’s okay too. I guess, just keep in mind that everything else will probably work out better for you if 5 minutes of mindfulness is spent!
