When you become a parent you find it almost impossible to sleep through the night without awaking several times. It happens because your baby gets awake in night and you don’t have an option but to help him to sleep. The only solution for this problem is that you need to make sure that your baby sleeps throughout the night and here are 7 easy steps to getting your baby sleep through the night. May be these steps are simple but it is very effective and it can be a great help for you as a parent just like a child tax credit helpline is.
1) Feed them well: I agree you will feed your baby well in any case but it is a good idea to feed your baby in every few hour throughout the day and make sure you feed him just before the sleeping time. It will make sure your baby does not feel hungry in night and don’t wake up because of hunger.
2) Make a day night difference for him: It is a fact that babies take a 5 to 7 hour long sleep once in every 24 hour so if your baby is sleeping for more than 3 hour wake him up and feed him and let him take this long sleep in night.
3) Play with her in evening: If you get tired you get good sleep in night and this is the case with babies also, so spend some time and play with your baby in which he runs here and there or he smile, laugh and do some physical activity that can make him tired.
4) Make it comfortable for him: It’s a fact that if you don’t feel comfortable you cannot sleep easily throughout the night and this rule applies for infants also. So make sure your baby is in most comfortable cloths and bed while sleeping.
5) Change the diaper (nappy) before bed time: In night mostly babies wake up because they feel wet so no matter what change the dipper before bed time so baby remain dried through the night and sleep well without any problem.
6) Don’t hurry if he wakeup in night: It ok babies sometime wakeup in night, they make some sound and they go back to sleep by themselves so just wait for some time before rushing toward your baby. If you do so he may wakeup completely by your touch or voice and then it will be very difficult for him to sleep again without taking a long time.
7) Don’t make any noise in night: Babies are very sensitive while they sleep and they may wakeup by any noise so try to reduce or eliminate the noise from your baby’s room as much as possible. If you have any wind chime or any other thing that can make a sound without any human intervention or with air, it is a good idea to remove it or use it at a distant place from your baby’s room. Also if you have animals like dogs or cats make sure they don’t make lot of noise in night so your baby can sleep though the night.
