Ohh Johnny isn’t perfect?!

My daughter is now 7 years old and she was a pretty good sleeper….but she would wake in the night for the dummy and if I had a bad night or week or day or month I wasn’t afraid to say. I think there is so much pressure on people with babies..sometimes they don’t know what to say or do or think!

I think it is a shame to worry about all of the little things because things will sort themselves out. You love the little baby or grow to love it like nothing else. I don’t want to say just enjoy the time because it goes so fast because I heard that about a billion times and now it makes me scream!!!!!!!!!!

Free choice is an amazing thing and while the government monitors the serious health and education risks associated with a child we can mostly decide what is best for our child. What a wonderful feeling that we can influence our little one to grow into an amazing little child, teenager and adult.

It is an amazing honour and it is important to trust we are doing an amazing job. Yes you too and your friend with the screaming child and your Sister with the hyperactive child and the child at school who still wets her undies or the bed, or the boy who hits others and speaks inappropriately, or the child who never sleeps….parents of all of these children are just awesome and a big applause all round.

Parents are learning too and there are hurdles to cross and while the sun still comes up so should the hope that today will be another great day.
