The sleep team: The unofficial date of July 13 has passed and now the media just wait for the royal bundle to arrive. The Palace has only ever reported that the baby was due in July sometime.
The arrival of the new heir to the throne will also be announced via a formal notice on an easel in the forecourt of Buckingham Palace. This is how William’s birth was announced.
While some tradition are being kept, some are not. This is a first where Prince William and his wife Kate will choose the name of the baby.
The little one will be third in line to the throne behind Prince Charles and Prince William.
Crowds of media and security are camped out in front of St.Mary’s Hospital in London. This is where Kate is expected to give birth and where Prince William was born.
The late Princess Diana chose to have Prince William and his younger brother, Prince Harry, in St. Mary’s Hospital. Royal births at a hospital was a first and it broke Palace tradition of having births at Buckingham Palace.
Some of the Royals have said Kate’s baby will be born: “hopefully soon” and “by the end of the week”, but in reality, we won’t know until it happens and then the Royal buzz will really start spreading.
