Bad breath is the build up of bacteria. Good oral hygiene, regular visits to your dentist and a good diet and medication effects on breath, will assist a lot.
Sometimes it can be stomach related and nothing to do with dental or mouth hygiene. Don’t ignore it – you will feel much more confident with fresh breath.
