Do you every read a text over and over and analyse was it good or bad? Then, over in your mind you say that bits were sweet, oh but it was sent late, but the tone was nice?
Well guys and gals, I can honestly say if you get a text and you are alarmed that the person is using you, not that into you, only available when they want to be – then listen to your doubts. Your doubts are probably spot on or you wouldn’t be having them. Let’s face it – you are trying to justify the texts into being positive even though they are negative. I don’t think a positive text would have that effect???
If people are playing with you – put them in their place and don’t be used or pushed around.
Examples:
Sorry I didn’t call last night…family emergency.
Did you have a nice Christmas? I had to rush away, but do you want to catch up on my way back?
I had to get a new phone so I haven’t been able to reply to your messages.
My mother took my phone off me.
I had a big night and fell asleep.
Now, remember, we teach people how to treat us so if you want to let people know you won’t be used and abused, in response to any of the above texts, I would write:
I am getting a new number and only giving it to genuine friends.
Catching up with you means things are so bad and my life never gets that bad!
Sorry, who are you, I don’t have you as a contact.
