If you Google anything, you will probably be inundated so I think if you are trying to sleep, stay away from technology. Probably an alarm is okay (a real one that is plugged into the wall) because it will help you relax knowing that your time to wake is on the agenda.
Just chill and tell yourself it’s no big deal. Do something fairly low key. Maybe you could watch a movie, have a bath, make a tea, journal, read, listen to music down low. I know these things sound a little boring, but the thing is having down time is not meant to be too stimulating!
Try not to overthink, which I know is tricky. I suggest you write thoughts down if they are bothering you and sort it out later because visiting those thoughts now will keep your mind active and your frame of mind will not help you think rationally.
Finally, appreciate the fact that you are listening to your body and you are fortunate enough to be in control and make positive decisions.
