All you have to say is: Hey Google – goodnight and Google will reciprocate and if you also say you are having trouble sleeping, Google will offer you some music to help!
Ironically, googling on other devices may keep people awake! This problem with phones in the bedroom probably can’t get any worse so I guess that’s a positive!
I wonder if people who previously had sleep issues, just have more to do now and so they are not so interested in finding a solution. Of course they are still tired and complain about it, however, it can’t be because of their phone; obviously it’s the sleeping disorder!
In our vehicles I think Google is keeping people more alert whilst driving, however, until real life appears on the phone, this is a problem!
So, we are living life engrossed by technology in all directions and it is only going to get worse. Health wise we are much worse off and I think in many other ways too. Audiologists and optometrists have noticed the decline in young people’s ear and eye health.
Educating our kids isn’t easy either unless we believe in the : “Do what I say and not what I do” philosophy!
I think technology will bring the solution. I mean Apple have already released an app to control your app uses!
Humans are ultimately more intelligent than computers so hopefully someone will figure it out eventually! In the mean time, put the phone down and don’t let it control you. If your phone is the only thing making you happy; then you are using your phone too much,
