Walk and sleep
A male friend was complaining he didn’t have enough time to walk in the mornings anymore and he wasn’t sleeping very well – waking up way too early and grumpy most of the day!!
I suggested he step it up. The only way to lose weight is to exercise and the only way to sleep better is to be active and exercise! So I told him it is a win-win. I think he understood my concept – the importance of exercise! I did explain it a couple of times!!
So now he surprised me and walks morning and night and feels so much better and is sleeping until 6am instead of 4am!
I get told I have lucky genes in regards to being quite slim, however, we all have strategies in order to be healthy. The number one strategy is to exercise. If the best you can manage is a 30 minute walk 4 times a week then start with this. Ideally a 40 minute walk 5-6 times a week would be perfect.
You will find when you are exercising more you won’t want as much of the ‘NO’ foods you usually do. We hear a lot about diets. Listen to your body, eat and drink in moderation. Drink plenty of water. Go on – give it a go!

Exercising is sure good to do, but hard to get started.

Yes I think getting started is the hardest part – maybe people should just think of getting started and not the actual exercise – might trick them into doing more – reverse psychology!!! Shaz.

Thats a great post Shaz. I hope your bloke friend appreciates you and what you have done for him. He is lucky to have you to advise and motivate him. My better 80% pretty much saved my life by encouraging me to get out and be a better, healthier man. I have never felt better. My gratitude to her can never be fully expressed. I have always thought my self lucky and proud to step out with her on my arm and now hopefully I becoming more attractive to her not only physically but emotionally, with my enthusiams for life, in my demeanor and my stamina 😉
