3. Help us forget things – what we don’t need is filtered out.
4. Help our brain function – sleep restores the brain by flushing out toxins that built up during the day.
5. Help us achieve things – such as the previous four points!
We are told repeatedly what lack of sleep does, such as resulting in impaired reasoning, problem-solving, attention to detail and more, but I think if we focus on my top 5 things that sleep will do tonight and be positive, surely we will have a better sleep! If you don’t get the amount of sleep you wanted to, when you wake up, if you try and do a 5 minute meditation on smiling mind or head space – give it a try.
